![]() ![]() With the Sith seemingly destroyed during the Seventh Battle of Ruusan, Darth Bane, the sole survivor, resolves to limit the Sith Order to only two Dark Lords at a time. ![]() The canon timeline is somewhat vague about the seeming defeat of the Sith, but the Legends continuity depicts their defeat in the Jedi vs Sith comics and the Darth Bane novels. Their ancient enemies, the Jedi (with whom they shared a common origin) were constantly at war with them, but the Sith fought among each other just as often. The Sith Order was once a large order of dark side warriors who sought to rule the galaxy through the power of the dark side. ![]() Whether or not The Elder was once a Sith, he describes the order’s shortcomings to the padawan before their duel, highlighting why the Sith will always be doomed to failure. In episode 7, “The Elder,” a Jedi Master and his padawan encounter an old man who is strong in the dark side and was likely a Sith before their order’s apparent extinction a millennium before the Skywalker saga. An episode of Star Wars: Visions confirms why the Sith are destined to always fail in the Star Wars franchise.
